Clinton Flynn was established in February 2008 by Ronan Clinton and Brian Flynn, both highly experienced professionals with expertise in all areas of accounting and taxation.
With offices in Waterford and Dublin, Clinton Flynn provides a full complement of financial and advisory services to businesses, individuals and public sector bodies.

Ronan Clinton
Ronan Clinton is a Partner responsible for an extensive portfolio of both Irish and international clients. He provides audit and business advisory services to a wide range of enterprises, from family firms to large corporations.
Ronan’s areas of expertise include:
- Auditing
- Irish & UK GAAP and IFRS reporting
- Internal control / system reviews
- Business advisory services
- Corporate governance requirements
Ronan co-founded Clinton Flynn, bringing over 12 years’ experience in the provision of audit and advisory services across entrepreneurial, large private and public multinational companies. Ronans clients are engaged in a range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, publishing, technology, construction and distribution. He has particular expertise in Irish & UK GAAP, group consolidations and group audit assignements along with significant experience in due diligence and group restructuring. Ronan has previously held senior positions with Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland.
Brian Flynn
Brian Flynn is a Partner whose clients range from sole traders and partnerships to large corporates. He provides tax and commercial advice and has dealt with a broad range of assignments from preparing tax returns to complex property and international transactions. Brian has particular experience in the construction and service sectors. Brian’s areas of expertise include:
- Personal financial planning
- Property transactions
- Corporate tax compliance
- Succession planning
Brian co-founded Clinton Flynn bringing 10 years of experience from positions in Ernst and Young and FGS. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland and the Irish Taxation Institute. He has lectured to the Waterford Institute of Technology and The Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management on all aspects of accounting and financial analysis. Brian is a member of the Irish Taxation Institute’s Branch Network who liaise with the Revenue Commissioners on all aspects of taxation.
