Irish Disposable Income Continues to Shrink

Irish League of Credit Unions has today announced the results of the third 2011 What’s Left’ disposable income tracker index. The tracker index records how much disposable income Irish people have this year, where they are spending their money and the financial hardships they are facing.

Tax relief for start up companies

The Government announced in Budget 2009 their proposal to introduce a three year exemption from taxation for start up companies commencing to trade on or after 1 January 2009.  The relief was conditional on obtaining EU approval. According to most recent official updates, the EU has given the go-ahead and a draft Ministerial Order is currently with the Minister for signing.
